Heather P. Walker has created an authoritative, concise, and visually appealing photo atlas for any dog anatomy course. Published for veterinary technicians, and specifically for those students having a focus on canine training, this atlas serves as a tremendous supplement to any anatomy textbook.

Combining superb illustrations and photos with clear descriptions, Walker has defined the standard for all dog anatomy atlases. Dog Anatomy: A Photo Atlas is a full-color atlas that is organized by region: cells, bones, muscles, nerves, and organ systems. Each chapter contains the following:

  • Histological images
  • Diagrams
  • Illustrations
  • Photographs and radiographs

Labeling, crossword puzzles, and multiple-choice type exercises are included for review and assist in reinforcing chapter material. With hundreds of dog images, this unique atlas enables students to both grasp and reinforce content understanding.
